Introduction to 1 Corinthians

We began our study of 1 Corinthians with a history lesson. John Reeves began our time together by looking at how the Bible is set up and then how the Church was instituted. We spent the bulk of our time in Acts chapter 2. We looked at God’s beautiful design for the universal Church. His design was such that no matter how messy the Church has been throughout the millennia, God has used it to point people to Himself through the power of the Holy Spirit. The local church is beautiful and messy. It is also powerful. The Church is the greatest force in human history because of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

If you would like to begin a conversation about following Jesus or would like to talk more about how your story and the Gospel connect, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.
