1 Corinthians 11

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to hear the first part of the Smith’s story as Crystal shared her portion. Following her story, Lead Pastor, John Reeves walked us through a difficult, often misapplied passage found within 1 Corinthians 11. He reiterated the vital role of ladies living out their gifts within the church body. In his letter to the believers in Corinth, the apostle Paul addresses order within God’s divine design. He says in verse 3, “But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.” The Bible is clear that when it comes to man and woman, there is no inequality or inferiority – but proper order and submission to authority as designed by God. The Lord desires obedience to His authority and submission to His perfect plan for order. Have you submitted to God? What is holding you back from surrendering all to Jesus?

If you would like to talk more about how your story and the Gospel connect, we would love to hear from you. If you have questions, please feel free to ask them here.
